How do I book appointments?
There are multiple ways to schedule an appointment with us. If you prefer to do it via phone, you can call our salon (817-345-0555) or call or text our Joy Hotline (817-209-9218). You can also visit our website and fill out our questionnaire or click the “contact” tab at the top of the page and send us a message!
When should I Arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This Allows you the opportunity to relax and let the staff know of any special requests or questions you may have.
What if I am Late?
We know how life gets sometimes! If you find yourself running late, please call and let us know so we can inform the stylist to see if it would affect any other clients scheduled that day. We will ALWAYS do our best to accommodate you whenever and however possible.
What happens if my stylist is sick on the day of my appointment?
Unfortunately, sickness happens when we least expect it. We will do everything in our power to inform you as soon as possible if your stylist is sick. We will get you rescheduled as soon as possible or see if we are able to put you with a different stylist.
What should I Wear?
Wear whatever you want! In our salon, we want you to feel as comfortable and at-home as possible. We do use smocks to cover you and your clothes to keep you clean and dry!
What payment methods are acceptable?
We accept all types of payment– cash, cards, checks!
How does the tipping process work? What is normal?
Our prices do not include gratuities for service providers. Tipping is optional, but if the service meets or exceeds your expectations, it is definitely appreciated! The industry standard is 15-20%.
Why get extensions?
Whether it was due to health problems or just a “New Year, New Me” bad haircut, EVERYONE deserves to have the hair they want! With extensions, you can add length, thickness, volume, style, and so much more. Hair extensions do not cause hair damage and can give you a new found confidence boost!
How much do extensions cost?
Every client is different. While or starting price is low as $4 per piece of hair, these can go up depending on desired length, fullness and color. During our FREE consultation, our experienced stylists will determine what the best fit is for you!
Will hair extensions damage my hair?
Our extensions do not damage hair. Improper care & upkeep or improper installation can, however. That is why it is extremely important to go to a high-end, certified salon that specializes in installing and removing extensions. And that is EXACTLY what Joy Spa & Salon is!
